SYNTHETIC WIG CARE

.

Wig Washing Instructions:

  1. Detangle First: Gently remove any tangles using a wide-tooth comb.
  2. Rinse with Lukewarm Water: Hold the wig by placing your hand inside the cap and run lukewarm water over the entire wig.
  3. Shampoo Gently: Apply a small amount of synthetic wig shampoo and lather gently. Avoid rubbing the hair to prevent tangling.
  4. Rinse and Condition: Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear. Apply conditioner and rinse again.
  5. Dry Carefully: Wrap the wig in a towel and gently pat to remove excess water. Place the wig on a stand to air dry.

Wig Care Instructions:

  • Washing Frequency: Wash your wig every 10–14 uses to maintain its quality.
  • Use the Right Products: Always use care and styling products made specifically for synthetic wigs.
  • Detangle Regularly: Use a wide-tooth comb, starting from the ends and working your way up, to gently detangle your wig.
  • Proper Storage: Store your wig on a stand or in a wig box to preserve its shape and quality.

How to Choose Your Wig Size:

  1. Measure Your Head Circumference: Using a flexible measuring tape, start at your hairline in the front and wrap it around your head until it meets back at the starting point. Refer to the picture graph for guidance.
    • Size S = 52 cm
    • Size M = 53 cm
    • Size L = 54 cm

  2. Adjustable Strap: All wigs feature an adjustable strap at the base for a more comfortable and secure fit.

Heat Styling Instructions:

Your Victorian Wig can be heat-styled to achieve your desired look! Before applying any heat, thoroughly wet the hair. Use heat-styling tools up to 280°F (137°C). Be cautious, as excessive heat can damage the fibers.

Correcting Damage on a Synthetic Wig

Various factors, such as wear and tear, wig length, and improper care, can affect the longevity and condition of your synthetic wig. Some common issues include:

  • Improper Storage: Storing your wig incorrectly can lead to matting and tangling.
  • Frequent Use: Everyday wear, especially during outdoor activities or sun exposure, can cause damage.
  • Incorrect Products: Using products not designed for synthetic wigs can cause build-up and damage.
  • Longer Styles: Longer wigs are more prone to matting and tangling if not properly maintained.

Victorian Heat-Friendly Synthetic Wigs can be easily rejuvenated. Here are some methods to remove frizz:

  1. Using a Steamer: Use a wig steamer along with a round brush to carefully smooth out the hair.
  2. Flat Iron Method: After washing your wig, apply a leave-in conditioner spray. Start from the nape or damaged areas and run a flat iron over thin sections of hair.
  3. Blow Dryer Technique: Use a blow dryer on a wet wig with a round brush to smooth out frizz.

These tips will help prolong the life of your wig and maintain its stunning appearance!
